girlanachronism: an animated list of reason why I no longer have an appropriate icon (Default)

Help, I'm alive, my heart keeps beating like a hammer

So, I'm in my tutorial working on the Macs learning how to use the bloody things and their strange film editing programs. The tutor (who is also my lecturer) tells us to grab some photographs from google and try and make a slideshow just to ease our way into it.

As she walks around, she stops by me as I have this up:

Tutor: Who is that?

Me: That's Noel Fielding.

Tutor: Is she an actress?

Me: Nope. He's a comedian.

Tutor: ....

Me: I think he's incredibly hot.

My Friend: Yeah, he is.

Me: I'd hit that.

Tutor: ...he looks like a woman.

Me: I know. It's awesome.

Tutor:  O_O

In other news, I need an idea for my short film for this media course. Fuck it. I mean, law is harder, but at least we don't have to be creative.

And, as I have discovered, I fail at creativity.

Edit: I just found this and have to include it because it's gorgeous. Oh, boys. Your love is epic.

Did you just quote Oscar Wilde? I... I think I love you.

I named my laptop after him and I keep green plastic carnations in my room. I haven't yet read all his work but I do enjoy what I've read immensely, and of course, there's the famous wit.

So, yes. Yes, I do. :)

I see! Well, fate brought us together for sure. You have to respect a man whose last words are "either that wallpaper goes or I do."

I've only read the Picture of Dorian Grey, because I don't like reading plays (I prefer seeing them). But I've seen quite a few of his plays, luckily.

Seeing plays is definitely more fun than reading them, though I enjoy both. I enjoy his short stories. They're really very beautiful. And his last words? Yes. That is love. How sad that the wallpaper won.

I must read his short stories.

And yeah, god damn the wallpaper.
