Allow me to provide some context. First we've got "Desolation Row," from the Watchmen soundtrack, which, though a fun cover in its own right, I would own regardless of quality because, you know, the Watchmen soundtrack.

Then we've got "Teenagers," which I find pretty funny, and "Welcome To The Black Parade," which, though styled self-seriously, has lyrics I find meaningful.

I think that MCR has enough talent to produce excellent music; they just tend to let it all drown in self-seriousness and compulsive mythologizing.

I have kind of an ambivalent relationship with the band A) because, rather than being standard-issue talentless poseurs, they're actually talented poseurs, which can be better or worse depending on how you view it, and B) I've been accused of looking like Gerard Way so many times.
