They're both awesome, but I too prefer Hot Fuzz. Probably because I've seen enough action movies to get most of the in-jokes, while my zombie movie history is really very bare.
Still, Shaun is kinda worth it for a) Dylan Moran, b) Simon Pegg doing a beautiful heartbroken moment when he shoots his mum and c) the aforementioned married couple riff.
Also possibly the "Kill the Queen! Kill the Queen" when the jukebox starts blaring Freddy Mercury.
