I took a cue from your icon and came up with 17. I only have one that I'd like verbatim, and I'll leave the rest to your wicked imagination (although if some of 'em are too obscure, just let me know).

What a lovely list! I shall endeavour to come up with something wickedly witty for them all. Unfortunately, there are a couple I don't recognise...
(Blair Sandburg, Jim Ellison, Sheldon Cooper)...so maybe you could suggest something for these, or I can research them? (but the reference may be a little clumsy :P)

Also, green on green sounds nice, maybe a really really dark green with mottled lettering? IDK.

Blair Sandburg and Jim Ellison are the leads from a nineties cop show called The Sentinel. Very hot guys, very slashy. Jim's a cop with heightened senses and Blair's the anthropologist studying him :D Also, Jim's got a military background and Blair's a bit of a hippy. So maybe something along the lines of

"....it's in Peru with Jim Ellison..." (where Jim got his powers from)
"Blair Sandburg's teaching it to meditate" (which he does for Jim, with much gratuitous touching :) )

and Sheldon Cooper is a physics professor on Big Bang Theory, (super funny stuff) so my icon could be "researching heterotic string theory with Sheldon Cooper, PhD"

The lettering all mottled sounds cool!
