No one pulls off warm fuzzy cynicism quite like you.

I just finished reading Unseen Academicals, which reminded me just how much I adore Terry Pratchett, who caused what is probably a lifelong love affair with deadpan wordplay, the pathological subversion of cliches, fantasy satire and the art of the footnote. It also reminded me that he is... not well, and not going to get better. Which makes me sad. Really, deeply sad.
