Well. Just got told that the California High court upheld Prop 8 in a six to one verdict. Better to find out late than never, I suppose, and certainly not too late for my response...

Yeah. That's about it. I mean seriously, how? IOWA, guys, IOWA IS BEATING YOU ON THIS! I mean, wtf?

Of course, I have no right to rant too hard, seeing how in Australia there is no state that legalises gay marriage, and as far as I can tell it is a spectacularly low priority.

I can't even explain why I'm mad, why they shouldn't have done this. I guess, like the American constitution, I just hold some truths to be self-evident.
