Oh, I loved I'm Not There. I like the director anyway (seriously, you have to see Superstar: the Karen Carpenter Story) and that made me appreciate him more. I really hate Cate Blanchett myself (I don't know why, I just do) and thought her voice in that was almost intolerable. Somehow, it didn't make me like the movie less. Stunt casting! < /unasked for film review >
Now it's half past midnight and I just finished reading the entirety of the Great Gatsby and I'm feeling vicariously disillusioned with life and want cocktails
ROAR JAZZ AGE ROAR! Now you're on the trolley! Fire up some Dorothy Parker and gin and you're aces. Fun fact I may have already shared about The Great Gatsby, my younger brother is/was so enamored with the book, when he had to work for Wal-mart since the pay was so good for his position and there was nothing else, to save himself a scrap of dignity, he said he twisted his name from James to Jay. I thought this was funny, understandable, and kinda feebly all at once until he said "You know, like Gatsby!" Almost makes me tolerate having him as a sibling. ;^)
